Alpha Tau Omega

Inform yourself

ATO is known as America’s Leadership Development Fraternity

We encourage you to review the Rush section of the website for more information about the National and Local Fraternity, but here are some very important things the Brothers of Alpha Mu would like to share with you.

Hazing

ATO is a NO HAZING Fraternity.  The Positive Experience and the Positive Experience Guide provides ATO members with the opportunity to have a consistent membership education experience, free of hazing.  There are numerous ways for a student to reach out to the college, National Fraternity, Active Chapter Executive Board and the Alumni Board of Trustees to report such incidents.  The Alpha Mu Chapter has not had a hazing incident in over 40 years.

Leadership

ATO is known as America’s Leadership Development Fraternity.  ATO has provided leadership opportunities that look great on Resumes and help ATO’s build their leadership skills.  ATO has an annual National Congress, President’s Retreat, Encounter, Altitude, Men of Destiny programs and Emerging Leaders Conference.

becomming an Alpha Tau Omega Brother is a lifelong commitment

The bonds that are forged as an underclassman can last for the rest of one’s life. It’s common for Alumni Brothers to help with resume and job guidance and mentorship. Alumni span decades and can help get new graduates internships and jobs in their areas of study.

For example, just last year we had a Brother who wanted to be a chiropractor and was able to work with an Alumni Brother at his practice to gain experience. Another Brother wanted to get into politics and a Brother who was a retired Judge got the young man an opportunity to intern in a Michigan political office. That Brother just announced that after a few years in Michigan politics, he accepted a position in Washington DC!

These are just a few of the success stories of our Amazing Adrian College ATO graduates.
